This is my favorite as you are showing the crappie on that brush pile with the Humminbird and explaining how you are locating the fish. Great job and tight lines.
Summer time crappies when the bite gets tough as the temps go up and crappies slow down also thank you for turning g my on to marker buoys truly help with working brush piles
Trying to finally fish for crappies “multi species “, you seemed to be knowledgeable of what you’re sharing. That’s good in my book for learning from, thanks for video info 🐟on
Had a long day on the lake sunday. Still pulled in around 15 crappie. Really gave an effort with the slip setup but a jig with soft plastic or live minnow was the winner
Great video. It's so hot here. By the time you get the crappie in the boat, it's already cooked for you. Lol. Couldn't help it. The heat is really brutal right now. Keep up the great work.
I enjoy all of your videos and tips! Sometimes I'll pick up a few ideas of things to do/try. I like how you showed and used downscope on the fish-finder instead of livescope, as that is what I often use. And references to the tackle and setup is always helpful. I have not done much crappie fishing from a boat until recently, so learning little by little as to how to make our trips on the water more productive. Keep it up!
Since I’m no threat to your lake or brush piles and have an over addiction to crappie catching. I’ll come sleep at boat ramp in my truck for a weekend and help you lay out new brush piles . 😎😎. Can pre make the weights to hold brush down. And I assume we can cut the brush tops - willow trees from the bank on that lake . Or have access to switch cane it works too .
If we set brush piles and I don’t no more . We did it middle of the week , after dark , if did it during day time we did it while it was raining hard people can’t see or here and most leave the water lol . Will they be found yes . But you may get a year or more of it not being hit hard by crappie fisherman .
Yeah it’s tough when you can’t catch them like your used to, same happened to me last weekend. I had 2 outings I caught 30 and 35 bass, next 2 outings same lake 3 and 2. No idea
So if you’re catching 1-3 keepers per pile that is your pattern . You need to pull up catch your quick bite keepers and move . So that means you’ll need 15-20 locations / piles maybe more for possible good day run and gun to get that limit
New fish , have to find new fish , set new piles for new spots . They will be found . But for little bit they will be hidden. New fish or lightly pressured to un pressured fish will bite better than pressured fish . Can do brush piles really easy after dark . 😎😎😎.
Could shrink they will shrink I’ve seen it . If I keep a close 1 or 2 to make my limit once I finish it I measure back through the close fish and I’ve seen some be less than 10” that was 10 1/8 or 10 1/4 when I caught it . I throw them back to the eagles and catch bigger ones. So now if it’s not 10 1/4 hard and bigger I just throw back if I’m putting them on ice .
Hello to you. Can you tell me what your line weight is and name on your pole. Please, looking for a new pole for October fishing on a lake and bank fishing. I always use slip bobbers.❤❤

This my favorite video because I didn't have a clue on how to locate crappie on my fish finder.
I'm so glad you don't rely on Livescope. I wouldn't be watching if you did. I'd rather watch talent than tech. Be blessed!
Only way I will use Livescope is if I am tournament fishing!

10# braid with ACC Crappie Stix. Check out acccrappiestix.com
If you had livescope you woulda caught everyone, being able to see the same fish on a live screen makes em bite everytime 😂
lol I don’t agree with that. Livescope don’t make them bite lol
Just now seen who this was lol
What’s up! How heavy is your slip shot when you use them
Not a split shot,‘it’s a weighted swivel! Link is in the description! I use a 1/4oz in this video!
Hey Caleb I'm coming to Texas and fish with you. Lo e the video some nice crappie there
Bring it on brother!
